Many women love to wear Kurt Geiger shoes; but where did it all start?

Back in 1963 Kurt Geiger opened his first store on Bond Street in London. His shoes became very popular and for over 20 years people flocked into his store to buy the shoes. By 1985 it was so popular that the House of Fraser group bought him out. This meant that most folks who purchase Kurt Geiger shoes would find them in the House of Fraser chains throughout the UK.

However, since 2001 Kurt Geiger has been opening Boutiques where the shoes can be bought. There are approx 16 stores – not many, but they prove to be very popular. In February 2008, Graphite Captial bought the company for £95m and it’s expansion began.
